I'thou not sure if there is a "new and improved" way of doing the mod (I did mine many moons ago) but- I just propped the latch in the "open" position with a black rubber cone washer, similar used in kitchen faucets. I double-sided viscous taped the mounts, for the ram, to the stationary and moving glass panes. I used outdoor 3m xx# hold tape, IIRC. Wire it up to a DPDT switch, washed. Exactly once, I had to replace the sticky tape, only on the ram/stationary mountain. You may have to practice it more than often if it is the sunday/heat more than mine. At that time, I thought about using epoxy for the ram mounts but decided that it wasn't necessary. (I have used clear epoxy to mount other metal pieces to glass, and then I know it would piece of work) Knute Well-Known Member Joined: Aug 13, 2020 Member: #337515 Messages: five,147 Gender: Male Vehicle: '06 4.0L Tacoma TRD Sport Stock, 4WD, Access Cab, White, Cheers. Just reviewed a thread where an owner did this to a 2017 model. Wiring is pretty simple. Motor and cable assembly seems reasonable. Window install needs to be done professionally. Final install looks like OEM, which information technology well-nigh is....... mikkydee My Taco 2007 DCLB 4x4 Man Truck Joined: February 6, 2016 Member: #177288 Messages: 440 Gender: Male person Offset Name: Doyle Florida Vehicle: 2007 Silver DCLB Tacoma, 4X4, 4.0 Liter, 6" lift, 20" rims, 34" tires half-dozen" lift, 20 " inch rims, 34" tires, billet grill, aftermarket fender flares, custom rear bumper, DVd actor with backup camera, all LED lights How long does it take your window to open and close with Would love to encounter a pic of your modification mikkydee My Taco 2007 DCLB 4x4 Man Truck Joined: Feb 6, 2016 Member: #177288 Messages: 440 Gender: Male person Commencement Name: Doyle Florida Vehicle: 2007 Silvery DCLB Tacoma, 4X4, 4.0 Liter, vi" elevator, 20" rims, 34" tires six" lift, 20 " inch rims, 34" tires, billet grill, aftermarket fender flares, custom rear bumper, DVd player with backup camera, all LED lights How long does it take to open and close the window with this ram on there?
